“This single storey, 3 bedroom home achieved an exceptionally high standard of construction and detailing and incorporates a variety of materials. It is unassuming in style and fits comfortably in the established streetscape. It is packed with features, including timber panelling, American oak parquetry floor, double hung timber windows, feature fireplace, concealed gutter and downpipe system, timber decking, solar-heated pool and a timber –panelled garage box. Environmental considerations are another strong feature of this home, including 1m-wide eaves, maximisation of the northern aspect, a 16000 litre underground rainwater tank and excellent cross flow ventilation and comport plus glazing to all windows. A very worthy winner in this category.”
